They have played here once already and are becoming one of the biggest bands in Canada. I have the opportunity to book them on Friday, July 4 for an all ages show. I know they do lots of all ages shows in Montreal and Toronto but I'm not sure how big a following they have with those under 19. Check em out at www.thedears.org and let me know your thoughts. |

I drove to Toronto and saw the Dears open up for Matt Good two weeks ago and loved them. It would be fantastic to have them play at Foggys. For the record, we were all under 19 and found them great, therefore I believe an all ages show would go over well.

I went to toronto to see them last year except it was sloan that I didn't even stay to see. and then I saw them at foggys shortly after as well. They were two totally awesome yet totally different experiences. and note to brendan: needless to say I think the show would go over well also ...and I am not just saying that because I want it to happen. two thumbs up to you and the bar with or without the show! |

i love the dears. they are really a great band. i would love to see them in town. i too went to toronto to see them and it was an amazing experience.

It would be a crying shame if the dears were not able to play at your fine establishment. If they do not play i will be very sad, so sad that i would go to a bar and drink but not yours just to spite you and your non booking of the dears. Thanks for the time goodnight and watoozie!

Hey, I would love to see the Dears, I think you should book them for sure. And as for Bredens comment on the small number of responses, numbers must not be his strength, seeing as this topic has more replies than any of the others. Get the Dears, I'll be there.
